How to turn off Windows 11 Update EASILY
There are various ways to disable the Update function in Windows 11 and the following review will discuss it through 2 methods and then depending on you, you will choose which method to use. BUT before doing this method, you should first make sure that the Windows 11 that you are using is ACTIVE.
1. Method via Regedit
This method is through the Registry Editor or called Regedit.
Through this Regedit, the first step is to open it in the Windows search field, then type Regedit. Then you open the application.
~ In the Regedit application, please enter HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Policies > Microsoft > Windows.
~ After that right click on the Windows folder. Then select New > Key, please fill in the name when Windows Update.
~ Then you will see the WindowsUpdate folder. Next, right-click the WindowsUpdate folder > Select Key > then please name AU.
~ And in the AU folder on the right, please right click on the Mouse > Then select New > DWORD (32-bit) value. And please type the name NoAutoUpdate.
~ Then there is NoAutoUpdate > Please select Hexadecimal and fill in the value with the number 1.
~ Next Please Restart Your Computer or Laptop. After the computer is in the off position and then on again in the process, the update function contained in the Windows 11 program will turn off. DONE...
2. Method via Command Prompt or CMD
~ The first step Please open the Windows 11 search field > Then type Command Prompt or CMD by right clicking > Select Run as Admin.
~ After that type the command net stop wuauserv > net stop bits > net stop dosvc gradually by pressing the Enter key.
~ Then you will see a successful stop notification on every command line that was typed and entered earlier. Then Windows Update in Windows 11 will automatically turn off.
BUT the question arises then what if we will at any time reactivate Windows 11 Update on this CMD or Command Prompt method. So we don't have to worry of course we can do it again in the way As mentioned above by simply changing the Stop command to Start. then Windows 11 Update will be ON again. Good luck...
