Will there ever be different from iPhone iPad

When the iPad was first introduced, many called him a huge iPod Touch, because he not only looked the same, but also worked on the same operating system - then still iPhone OS. In myself then decided for themselves that the device carries little meaning if it is not very different from the iPhone, but later still bought and loved iPad.

And now, a few years later, I want to say that it has not changed.

iPhone OS renamed to iOS, emphasizing the versatility of the system, but still very difficult to find differences between the phone and tablet versions. Yes, iPad apps have completely changed, specially sharpened for large screen design, and the same, and I'm waiting on the system, but nothing changes. Each version of iOS for iPad simply duplicates the changes made for the iPhone, and only occasionally finds its own tablet functions, such as scrolling with just a few fingers or a sliding keyboard.

Why Apple is so slow upgrades tablet version iOS? Perhaps this is due to lack of flexibility of the system. It is known that the idea originated iPad before was designed as the iPhone, but can it be that iOS simply was not designed for large display? That is, there is simply no funds for the distribution of elements on the big screen, and their implementation can lead to incompatibility or already established applications to numerous vulnerabilities.

Currently iOS for iPad visually and functionally loses Android, but thanks to perfectly adapt the application is iPad, in my opinion, can be called the best of tablets. The only question is how long it will last.

It is possible that, in parallel with the changes in iOS, which we see every year at WWDC, is working on the creation of entirely recycled tablet version of the operating system, which of course will be compatible with applications written for previous versions. However, this process is so time-consuming that we will have minor improvements to feed until the revolution will not be ready to be served.

To date, I can say that not too pleased with how Apple refers to the iPad - it looks like a younger brother of the iPhone, which came into existence later doomed to continue wearing my older brother thing until you grow up and do not start making your own.
